Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Solomeh, an app published by Black Shark Digital LLC. Using the app means you accept them.

The service

Solomeh gives you a daily Bible study in text and audio, a daily verse, a prayer bank and a private journal. Part of it is free; the full daily study requires a subscription.

Bible translations

The Bible text shown in the app comes from public-domain translations: World Portuguese Bible (Portuguese, ebible.org), King James Version (English), Reina-Valera 1909 (Spanish). The daily studies likewise quote public-domain translations, credited in each piece.

Your account

You need an account to save progress. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. One account per person. Tell us if you think someone else got in.

Subscription and billing

Subscriptions are billed through Apple, Google or Stripe, depending on where you signed up, and renew automatically until cancelled. The 7-day free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancel through the store you subscribed with — we cannot cancel an Apple or Google subscription on your behalf.

Refunds

Purchases made through Apple or Google are refunded by them, under their policies. For purchases made on our website through Stripe, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you.

The content

Bible passages are quoted from public-domain translations: World English Bible (English), Almeida (Portuguese), Reina-Valera 1909 (Spanish) and Diodati (Italian). The commentary, the audio and the app itself belong to Black Shark Digital LLC. You may read, listen and share individual studies; you may not republish the catalogue, resell it, or use it to train a model.

What Solomeh is not

It is study material, not pastoral counselling, not therapy and not medical advice. If you are in crisis, please reach a person — a professional, a pastor, an emergency line in your country.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, scrape or overload the service, do not share your account, and do not use the app to break the law.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will say why when we do.

No warranty, and the limit of our liability

The app is provided as is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise it will never fail. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Meaningful changes get announced in the app before they take effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
