Privacy Policy
Solomeh is a daily Bible study app published by Black Shark Digital LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
Account. Your email address and a password we never store in readable form (it is hashed with bcrypt).
What you answer in the quiz. The onboarding questions about your reading habit and what you want from Scripture.
What you do in the app. Which studies you opened and completed, your streak, and your journal entries.
Subscription status. Whether you have an active subscription, and which plan.
Technical data. Device type, operating system, app version, language and approximate region, plus crash reports.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, phone number, address, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment card details. Card data goes directly to Apple, Google or Stripe and never touches our servers.
Why we collect it
To give you the right study in the right language on the right day; to keep your streak and progress across devices; to know whether your subscription is active; and to fix crashes. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles for third parties.
Your journal is yours
Journal entries are private. They are stored so you can read them again on another device. No one on our team reads them as a matter of course, they are never used to train any model, and they are never shared.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that make the app work:
Supabase — database and file storage (United States).
Vercel — API hosting (United States).
Superwall — subscription paywall and its analytics.
Apple, Google and Stripe — payment processing and subscription status.
Each one receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Where your data lives
On servers in the United States. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this is an international transfer, made under the standard contractual clauses of our providers.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we erase your profile, quiz answers, progress and journal within 30 days. Anonymous aggregate statistics — how many people completed a study on a given day — may remain, because they no longer identify anyone.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Deleting an account is available inside the app, in Profile → Settings, and it is not reversible. You can also write to us and we will do it for you.
Children
Solomeh is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so inside the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
